Summary
The one-minute brief
  • Do not measure assigned AI accounts; measure whether a real job is faster or less error-prone.
  • A pilot needs a workflow owner, a baseline and a clear decision date.
  • AI helps when it removes manual work, not when it adds another screen.
01

Frequent AI use does not say much by itself

AI now appears in customer support, document handling, meeting summaries, coding and data work. Daily use alone, however, does not mean a business process has improved.

Vietnamese reporting shows a meaningful gap between experimenting with tools and integrating them into operations. Opening a chatbot is quick; redesigning how a team receives, checks and hands work over is harder.

A trial should scale only with evidence, an accountable owner and suitable data infrastructure.
02

Start with the work that consumes time

A practical first case is rarely grand: sorting enquiries, finding a current quote or moving form data into a CRM. Name the person, task, minutes, recurring error and finished output before selecting technology.

03

After four weeks, review the work—not the hype

Compare handling time, rework, manual copying and operating cost with the old baseline. Stopping or correcting a weak pilot is a sound decision; scaling an unproven one is not.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How long should an AI pilot run?

Four to six weeks is often enough for early evidence when the workflow has steady volume.

Should it be fully automated on day one?

No. Work affecting customers, money or sensitive data needs human approval until reliability is demonstrated.
